This morning we will catch the water taxi at Te Mari and drive about an hour to Picton, located at the top of the South Island. From there we will travel by Ferry with our car to Wellington, on the North Island.
It is almost surreal to think that we've wrapped up the South Island of New Zealand. It has been a terrific journey and we've met so many nice folks along the way. We've also enjoyed some of the most beautiful scenery - it's almost too beautiful to imagine.
We are sure the North Island will also provide many wonderful memories. Stay tuned, there is more to come. We're down to the last 31 days!
